Pumpkin Seeds And Paper Plate Mandala Art For Kids

Rangoli (or Mandala) is an art form in which patterns are created on the floor using materials such as colored rice, dry flour, colored sand or flower petals.

Rangoli is usually made to decorate the home on festivals like Diwali and other special occasions. It is said that the Goddess of wealth "Lakshmi" visits people's homes during Diwali. To welcome her, people clean their homes, illuminate their houses with diya (lanterns), set-up colorful garlands on doors, and make colorful rangolis.
