Paper Flower Craft

"The Earth Laughs in Flowers." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Flowers evoke emotions of colors, fragrance and freshness. They are a great way to teach young kids about the beauty and delicateness of nature. So, for our next craft, we decided to create these unique paper flowers. My daughter enjoyed pasting the petals together and then playing with the flower when it was ready.

It's a nice easy craft for little children.

HOW TO MAKE PAPER FLOWERS?

SUPPLIES

BEHIND THE SCENE STEPS

1. Cut out six strips from 8"x11" cardstock paper.

2. Out of six, cut two strips into quarters and four strips into the half.

3. Staple one half and one-quarter strip together making a flower petal as shown below. You can also use glue for this step instead.

4. Cut out a circular shape from a cardstock paper and glue all the petals on it. Let it dry for some time.

5. Glue a straw making the stem for the flower and let it dry for some time.

Your beautiful flowers are ready. Happy Crafting!
