These days, we are reading Curious George books. This series of books tells the story of a monkey called George who is very curious and his adventures with the Man with the Yellow Hat. All the stories are wonderful and never fail to amuse my daughter. She is becoming quite a fan of little George. We are always looking out for Curious George books on every library visit. So far we have read Curious George goes camping, Curious George learns the alphabet, Curious George Flies a Kite, Curious George Librarian for a Day, Curious George Dance Party, and Curious George in the Snow.
Just in time for Christmas, we found this lovely book “Merry Christmas Curious George”. It’s a story about how excited and curious George helps the man with the yellow hat pick out the holiday tree and then does a fun decoration with the kids at Tree Decorating Party in the hospital.
Inspired by the book, I asked my daughter - Do you want to have a tree decorating party? Yeah, she said. This gave me an idea to make Christmas tree ornaments for the fun 10 days of Kid-Made Christmas series we are participating in. To add extra fun, we used aluminum foil for making these trees.
