We have been trying easy origami projects with my daughter. You might have seen our origami cats we posted recently and the origami bunny we made for Easter.

When we saw these adorable origami bookmarks in Easy Paper Projects Book, we couldn't resist trying them. This is a new book written by one of my favourite crafters Maggy Woodley. She is the creator of the very popular craft site Red Ted Art. I'm so excited to receive her fabulous book and to tell you about it.

Easy Origami for Kids

This book has 60 easy craft projects with detailed step-by-step pictorial instructions for kids to follow. It has projects to keep kids occupied year long with a bunch of seasonal and holiday content.

What I love about this book is that you only need paper and a few other basic supplies (like glue & scissor) which you might already have at home. The crafts are simple and look cute!

There are a lot of fun paper crafts for kids that they can create, wear and gift to their friends or other loved ones.

If you follow our Instagram stories, you might have seen my daughter with her summer reading log. She is reading quite a bit these days and is excited to use her first handmade bookmark on the books. She is looking forward to trying more crafts from the book.
